Most flat panel equipment makers are Japanese, and would rather commit seppiku than buy US components

As the Japanese recovery continues and Japanese companies have to become much more competitive to compete globally, this may be changing. Hitachi just gave PRI a very nice order (I don't have the link, but it was posted here within the last 6 weeks). I realize Hitachi isn't a FPD company, but it's the same principal. This was a HUGE win for PRIA.

Thanks. I had hoped that this would be some extra help for PRIA, but it sounds like its flat panel operations are not material.
