By the time a deal closed, AMZN stock might not be worth the $20 they'd have to pay for BGP.

Internet stock has never been a particularly good currency for purchasing non-internet companies. Everybody knows they're way to volatile to structure any kind of a deal around. That particular currency has mostly been used for internuts to buy other internuts.

And that currency is losing value by the minute.

I agree with Cramer on this one. The internuts will have entered reality when we see a real company buy one of them or vice-versa. And my personal prediction is that the value of their stocks will be still lower than it is now...
