Actually, MSFT is under threat from Ma Bell. They got cable and dsl.

Geez...seems one should invest not based on "feelings" about the "attitude" of a company, but strictly based on their prospects to grow and earn one $. I got out of AOL recently, caught a falling knife thank God. I think their glory days are past. They'll survive, but they don't have broadband and now there are free ISPs and others will copy the instant messaging.
