jb,

The bid/ask and b-bid/b-ask do change in the quote sheet pre-market for NASDAQ issues, assuming you're got them in your quote sheet. There are lots of goodies available for the quote sheet. To see individual trades and bid/ask history, you need to look at the T&S.

re:Onelist The point being Gibbons/Quote.com have to consider that some of their customers might not want to have to pay SI to gain access to the support that Onelist provides for free. Yes, there's a lot of extraneous stuff that comes through but c'est la vie. I find their use of Onelist rather clever actually. Can you imagine a Microsoft or Netscape or for that matter Townsend Analytics (RealTick - a competing package to QCharts sort of) offering such support? I don't think so!!

re:Charts updating with pre/post market activity. They don't. Period! I've never seen a chart that contained anything except a gap between yesterday's 4:00 close and today's 9:30 open. Just 'convention'.

re:Quotes. Yes, the last will always reflect the last trade of yesterday. However, the bid/ask adjust to reflect current market conditions. Again, I'd strongly encourage you to experiment with a Time/Sales window if you're trying to determine where the market stands at a given point in time pre or post market. While Level II updates, most of the bids there are phony and non-binding anyway.
