If we close anywhere near the lows, would everyone agree that this is a dead cat bounce?

GST- great call on holding those AOL puts.. I chickened out and sold mine at 9 7/8.. Could have gotten 23 for them today!! :( :(

Interesting though- the "blue chip" techs, like AOL and INTC, are still down.. Suggests funds continue to dump..

The only stuff up big are the speculative internuts.. Of course, people buying those tend to know the least about the market in the first place, so you'd expect them to make stupid trades.

I don't think csco and intc broke enough. Most of these wash-outs have required csco to drop 20%. I feel strongly we will head back down, but not quickly if the employment numbers are good. I will reshort on a further jump up of 5-10% on the nets, but also cover and go long on anything pretty close to todays lows.
