Bob, in your reply to Ken Benes I would like to support your views and add another angle to what GATA is about. First, to what you said in your reply to Ken. << GATA was needed to push right buttons in the USA Government.>> I believe as you that <<honest representatives>> are in the government, and once <<GATA ... to expose manipulation>> continues, that these <<honest representatives>> << will do the rest.>> I would only like to highlight your point of <<...fighting will be left for honest citizens.>> that not only do we the citizens have a right to question what our leaders in the government do in regards to big issues like economic policy, but unless we exercise our rights to freedom of thought and speech, that we know thru other countries experiences that those rights can be lost, and one way is letting those who tell us to "give up ... its hopeless ... you will lose ... they are stronger than you ... accept it ... yield" become the ones who decide for us. Example: From: Ken Benes What happened to GATA? They must be in rehab. Every indicator of hope, every shred of evidence pointing to the expose on gold, and every new wrinkle in the global financial condition, lead to a continuation of the decline in the price of gold. While you can laud GATA's efforts, I believe they are totally underestimating their foe. It is a little like the worlds dictators taking on the US airforce. Other than goldbugs, no one cares what the price of gold is and whether the market is manipulated. People are interested in their own welfare and for the time being, gold has little relevance to their balance sheets. Yes their are ominous things going on in the world, but do not underestimate the resourfulness of the bankers and their handy super computer tools, that manipulate markets in lightning speed. Ken Well, hard for me to acknowledge the usefullness of this person's post except as a good reason to keep one eye open at all times. doug
