Hi Jerry,

In today's environment, I would be hesitant to even write calls. I think the next several weeks until 4Q99 arrives will be pretty uncertain, hence I will sit on my hands.

I remember an SI'er posting a Goldman Sachs report which opines that Greenspan will raise rates at least 25bp in the near future. The next two FOMC meetings are August 24th and October 5th.

IMO, a 25bp raise is already priced in the market. I can't see Greenspan raising this month and October, right now, is 50/50. If a raise doesn't materialize at all by October 5, we're in the money-literally ;)

Any thoughts?
Pat

I've been looking since 7/1 when it was $82. Finally bought today at $65. Good so far - closed at $70 today. Revenue growth is good but I am concerned with future competition and technologies. Any thoughts?
