Which is probably excellent advice if I could discipline my self not to continually tinker around with my holdings.

Sunny, I assume you have read the "my goal" document posted on my profile. It shows that I made all of my money the last 7 years on the "four Gorillas" plus AOL and DELL. The AOL was a "King" buy that I made last year, that I was sure would go up, and that I knew was a bubble. I got out last march, at about 150, "before the deluge!". The Dell was a "One up on Wall Street" buy a few years ago, I bought the computer, and liked everything so much I bought the stock. When it started to move I bought more. It was a "prince" that was the "King" of direct PC sales. I got out when the profits started to flatten last January

Over the last few years I was in and out of about 50 "shiny pebbles", good looking, small cap tech stocks. I made money on 25 and lost about the same amount on the other 25.

That is why I am disciplined to stay with a few big ones now. I will probably dabble in others, but not too big.
