Are you serious? You are joking right?

This thread should be named the "Y too Kay Extremists Thread"

Are we debating Y too Kay, or the End Times?

End Times, take it to another thread. Y too Kay has NOTHING to do with religion.

I would recommend stocking up on:

rubbing alcohol
hydrogen peroxide
batteries
benadryl
cigarettes
booze (personally loathe the stuff so wouldn't do that one)
.22LR, 9mm. .223 ammunition (.22 would be a staple)

If you can get your hands on antibiotics and pharmaceuticals you might also have
some bargaining power.

Besides, if Y2K turns out to be a bust, you can throw one hell of a party with that stuff.

Hi, Andy.

I have a question about your "barter list":

>>If you think there might be a chance for barter, I would recommend stocking up on:

rubbing alcohol
hydrogen peroxide
batteries
benadryl
cigarettes
booze (personally loathe the stuff so wouldn't do that one)
.22LR, 9mm. .223 ammunition (.22 would be a staple)

I understand the batteries, cigarettes, booze, ammo, antibiotics and drugs as barter items, but I'm baffled as to the rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide.

Actually, although I'm trying very hard to resist asking whether this means I'd have more fun as a blonde in the millennium, this is a serious question not just in the context of barter but whether these have some special utility that means I should be stocking up on them.

Thanks for the info!
