Exactly, Steve. The toughest thing for us folks as investors who watch the fundamentals will be if the signs point to Xicor breaking the mold this time. I put some PSR info into my latest Yahoo post that shows that if Xicor really cranks up fundamentally, in both sales and margins, the stock could indeed outperform ATML by 50-100% -- and shoot past it on the comparative chart. But what if this improvement becomes clearly visible late in the cycle? It might never show up on the up cycle for the stock, just in outperformance on the next down cycle. As you know, I have learned more about semiconductor down cycles than I care to talk about.
