Hmmm... and according to Hewlett Packard, those who do not get Zip get CD-RW built-in, including a $999 model. CompUSA's flier was full of computers with built-in CD-RW and NO Zips.

Evidently, in real life, the Iomaniac's "Floppy Replacement" is itself rapidly being replaced by CD-RW. Watch for CD-RW drives to be included in even lower priced machines in the near future- forcing Zip out of the boxes.

But don't take just MY word for it, listen to Hewlett Packard. This is after all their direction.
