Not that I don't agree with you. But I'm not sure you can predict what will be the norm for PE ratios in the future. Your comment regarding the prediction of the future growth rate makes more sense. Everyday the news changes and yesterdays news is just that. I agree that the market acts on future predictions, but my view of the many post today in reference to Microsoft, day by day. Don't misunderstand my comments, I'm just trying to make sense of all that has happened. This may be the mid-year effect, or history in the making. Quite frankly, I'm not sure why all the hostility towards Microsoft anyways, reminds me of Apple 15 years ago.
