Absolutely, except I would think of it more as a HEDGE against that possibility than him knowing that a buyout was in the offing. What surprises me is that IDTC management would acquiesce to this. I have heard, however, that this sort of option was part of a previous contract with Sobel and needed to be carried over for legal reasons.

However, such a buyout would have to be in excess of 45/share for IDTC with NTOP at 15 for it to become worthwhile for Sobel.

Does anyone know the exact number of IDTC share that Sobel has options for?
