Anyone that thinks that there is something free in America must be out of his/hers mind. There is nothing free here, this is more MSFT's 'FUD'.

Also, in Europe, ISP's are free but what about those damn those on line time charges by the phone companies.. i have relatives in Europe and most ofthem cancelled their internet service because it cost so much with the phone charges.

I agree with you impristine... everyone have to pay their share... for free internet to be a reality, the assumption that must hold is that the percentage of internet users that generate revenue for advertisers, is large enough to keep the advertisers footing the bill for all the users... and that such revenue is worth it for the advertisers.... and that is simply not the case, and is not going to happen... the shear number of users makes it costly... very costly...
