Rarebird,

Thanks----Does this mean interest rates are going to be caught between a decrease in supply and higher inflation?? If so, in your opinion , which side wins, lower or higher rates ? (Between now and the end of the year)

my friend at lunch was asking me about that..I tried to explain to her
how the government manuvers to protect low interest rates now
then I tried to explain the social security portion of the "surplus"
and couldn't..she was also busy trying to tell me that even the projections of surplus versus deficit confused her..she is extraordinary bright..I told her they have done a very good job obviously of mixing up everyone..
do you believe they mixed up the news media also..or they feel their
bread and butter now is in the stock market?
