VISXbull: LASIK Vision Canada ran ads this past weekend in a dozen or so major metropolitan U.S. newspapers offering LASIK for $999. Both eyes included, but you must travel to Canada to have it done. They're using a Chiron laser, by the way. Very interesting to me that we're already seeing competition on price. Mark Logan has stated all along that he did not think prices would fall much (if at all) in the near term because demand is so strong. I don't think price declines are necessarily bad, because demand for LVC should be terrifically elastic. Charlie
