Clint,

What do you think about this:
"Shares of Internet service providers slumped Thursday, led by America Online Inc. (NYSE:AOL -
news), as the potential threat of software giant Microsoft Corp.'s (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) slashing the cost of Web access
chilled investors.

Shares of America Online, the world's biggest Internet access company, fell as much as 11 percent following a published
report that Microsoft is eyeing plans to hasten the trend toward low-price, or even free, Web access. The stock hit a session
low of $77 before climbing to $81.75, off $5.69 in early afternoon trade.

Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal said Microsoft will take an ''aggressive'' stance on pricing, and has discussed buying or
partnering with other providers, including EarthLink Network Inc. and MindSpring Enterprises Inc. (Nasdaq:MSPG - news) .

Spokesmen at Microsoft were not immediately available to confirm or deny the report."

Look at phcm? What a wild trading range!

Semis! I think they are just taking a breathe here. It's overdue and I am looking to get back in cymi again.

Iris

Clint,

Patience finally paid off. Congratulations! The end of session looks like a short squeeze. Since today's productivity report is bad, interest rate hike will not go away. At which point do you think we can short internets?

Thanks.

Steve

HI Clint!

Just come from work home(west coast)!
Thanks for comments on the SEMIS. I went home flat and will sleep well. Didn't make any money this week but i don't have to live off my trading and consider myself in a study period right now. So it was an interesting week and i kept learning. Have to look at the Semis again. Did i tell you i tried to short KLAC but no shares available. I still feel that the stock made a failed top here but maybe it was better this way.
Still not comfortable with spikes like today -i remember very clearly how miserable i felt last year when Dell spiked low and i was long and sold after it came back to my entry because i was just happy to get rid of the tension;you had bought right at the bottom and profited handsomely - but will continue to observe your trading since you're good at it.
Thanks for sharing you knowledge!

Stefan
