Highly doubtful, Art. Private placements usually involve a middleman and his normal fee. Only the very large institutions/corps. have the contacts, experience and muscle to go it alone. IMO. Jack Bridges

There can be, and often are, commissions on private placements, and there are investment banking fees for helping to structure the deal.
