The new options montage in 5.01 works in conjunction with the symbol limit by allowing you to filter out options that you are not interested in. This is accomplished from the properties dialog, by clicking on the "P" toolbar button. You can filter by open interest values or by traded volume values. Each option symbol counts as one against the symbol count.
