PMS, what do you think of the ...

I don't think any of the stuff you mentioned adds to the clarity of my, or anyone else's crystal ball. There's uncertainty about the future. People's responses as information becomes available will depend, in a large measure, on their mindset, and the collective mindset of the market is NOT optimistic right now; hence, we see Microsoft stock price fall on any news, good or bad. This usually continues well beyond a reasonable duration, until it finally runs out of gas and the collective opinion changes. The best opportunities are presented during these periods of attitude change. One can still buy at 'fear' prices in anticipation of selling at 'greed' prices a short time later. (Two cycles per year is normal)

I think we're at one of those 'mindchange' points now.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. A suggestion: Pick a date when Microsoft established a 'bottom' in the past and re-read SI posts on that day. Also, pick a 'top' and re-read the posts around that day. Compare the tone and demeanor of those post with today's. You'll see what I mean.
