HP not as an investment but as a player in Linux service and support. HP has established an investment arm to facilitate emerging technologies on its hardware. The company also recently announced 24x7 support for clients deploying Linux. They seem late to the party as usual, but the company is becoming much more aggresive at adopting external technologies. HP currently has some minor relationship with APLX (probably not as important as IBM's DB2/Linux relationship with APLX) but perhaps something further may come of it next week. Any thoughts?
