I thought the point was that anyone could get free membership in SI including posting privileges. At least that was my interpretation of your first post about the subject.

What this change means to those of us that have enjoyed SI for so long....is that information, rumors, etc posted on SI no longer have any more weight than those posted on Yahoo.
This means that any Tom, Dick or Harry can now walk into a Kinkos, etc. anywhere in the world...register onto Silicon Investor, Raging Bull, Yahoo, etc....then pass along a rumor....walk out...and nobody is the wiser.


But Rande naturally does not wish to dwell on this, and has worked very hard to confuse the issue. Rande Is...obfuscating in the water. It's what one does when one is wrong and for some reason unable to admit it.
