larry, it looks like we're headed for a stronger opening, so holding off on your short may prove to be a wise decision. If you're still focused on shorting, however, the morning trading session should provide you the opportunity you're looking for. The wild card here is the July employment report due out at 8:30. If it's negative the Market may very well tank, but I don't think you wanted your short play hinging on that report. You made some very good points in your post, btw. Teflon
