so much for the code of silence .....you just broke it.

Not so. At 5:18PM ET the entire August GTR was published in other SI threads. This was well before the post you are complaining about.

Two mistakes were made. First, the August GTR was published after the market closed, insuring planetary distribution by the time the market opens Friday morning. Second, the GTR web site has suffered a major security failure. But it is the former mistake that is so bothersome. When they announced the after market hours publishing time, they were told by a majority of their subscribers that it would open the door for widespread Internet distribution before paying subscribers could act upon the ideas in the August report. Releasing the report during market hours would give paying subscribers a head start, albeit only 15-30 minutes, to act before the information thieves could post away. Those protestations were ignored, dismissed as whinning from daytraders and not serious investors.

I can understand the security leak, it happens and without a doubt can be fixed before the next GTR. But what I can't understand, or reconcile, is the decision to publish the August GTR after the market closed, almost guaranteeing that paid subscribers would be locked out of establishing positions in the new selections.

Sour grapes? Not a chance. I already own both of the stocks highlighted in the August report. GG-please publish your newsletter while the market is open and while most of your subscribers have an opportunity to act before the unwashed hoards jack up the bids.
