for gold bugs...

agnico eagle (aem) seemed to have a very fine day, particularly on the canadian side...i can't seem to figure out why...but it was up 50 cents to 8.90 cdn

i cannot cut and paste here, but check out ffh.to on yahoo or something...this is fairfax financial , considered a mini berkshire in a way...sliced big time today due to bad earnings...wow...the fellow doesn't like splitting the stock, but its now down over half from its peak of $ 600 cdn...

ouch...

Speaking of GS and Abby, here's something I said on another thread:

"I have this vision, when this all falls apart, of Abby Cohen getting threatened with being tarred and feathered, entering the federal witness protection program, having plastic surgery, changing her name to Debbie Smith, and finally working for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Omaha, Nebraska. An oddly satisfying vision, for some reason!"
