I didn't know about the move to Jerusalem. Sounds NWO-ish to me. Can you cite references?

As for the "Great Star" I believe that is the bearded comet referred to in other quatrains. The next line, "the cloud will cause two suns to appear" to me is clearly referencing a comet's corona. Taken together I interpret the bearded star grows in intensity until it becomes the 'Great Star' burning in daylight who's corona will make it appear the size of another sun. About the 'Mastiff' I don't recall Paulus' interpretation.

There's something really fascinating about this "seven day" period Nosty describes which I'd like to point out. Why would he pick just seven days because if it is a comet it should burn for longer than that? Well it turns out Lee will cross-over the earth's path on August 25. On that day it will appear due west at sunset and will be at an angle of nearly 30 degrees above the horizon (bear in mind it crosses over our path Before we reach that point so it Will still be seen in the west). One week later, on Sept. 2 the earth begins it's transit thru the comet's orbital plane. I think as an astrologer Nostradamus is picking the interval between the comet's crossing the earth's path (a crossing of fate) and the time when the earth faces any peril associated with the comet's debris, i.e., moving thru the comet's orbital plane is where the earth will be subordinate to the comet's physical influence.

You have to understand something about the orbit of Lee. It is inclined 149 degrees to the solar plane. It is currently Above the solar plane because of it's perihelion transit. Currently it's in the small section of it's orbit which is inclined 30 degrees above the solar plane. It will pass below the solar plane in late Sept. as it continues on it's highly eliptical 14,000 yr. orbit. Now, the bad part is we are travelling Inside Lee's orbit. That is, given the angle it intersects the solar plane we will cross it's inside path when we transit thru it's orbital plane Sept. 2-9th. With the comet having passed-by just one week prior we will essentially be travelling thru an area which is one week behind the nucleus and several million miles to the inside of the comet's orbit. This is a bad place to be. Debris shed during solar transit is ejected to the inside of a comet's orbit due to the relation of the sun heating the side of the comet which faces it as the comet swings around. The gasses and water vapor burned off the nucleus eject debris to the inside of the comet's orbit. IMO, over successive orbits this debris could certainly move several million miles to the inside of the orbit. If Lee is a dense comet (as most long period comets are) this could be problematic.

Fortunately, on the 11th the sun's corona should provide excellent backlighting to illuminate any large debris accompanying Lee. Telescopic images should be able to detect if there's a bunch of debris around/following Lee. Because we'll pass thru an area close-inside Lee's actual trajectory only one week after it's passing IMO this is worth a hard look.

More rain forecast as Asia begins recovery from devastating floods

MANILA, Philippines (AP) - New rains threatened parts of Asia, just as much of the region was struggling to clean up from several weeks of devastating floods that killed at least 949 people and left millions homeless. Weather forecasters said seasonal monsoon rains are likely to continue for much of this month in Southeast Asia, raising fears of further flooding. The Hong Kong Observatory issued a thunderstorm warning for China and said heavy rains were likely to continue into Saturday.
