I2 and Marc: Re: "It is NOT my memory that Bob said a 10% correctiion would prolong the bull market which since it would be a bull would suggest that we would go on to significant new highs." My recollection is that a correction of the present magnitude would at least postpone any bear call. Whether we would go on to significant new highs would depend, in part, on the character of the subsequent rally and other factors yet unknown. (We need a declining long bond for a big move up IMO). Brinker is still on record for a test of the old highs at least by end of summer. I think that is all we can say at this point
