Amen, brother. WITC is the first online trading company that I've used, and my experiences with them have been terrible. I've opened an account with etrade now, and will give them a try.
WITC is the most customer unfriendly, incompetent outfit I've ever dealt with. I sent a fax to wire my funds out of the account several days ago, and haven't received anything yet. Any other financial institution wires funds out the day the request is received--if it's before a certain time.
As far as I'm concerned, Wit's policy is not "the customer always comes first," but rather, "when and if it's convenient for us, you'll hear back in a few days."
It makes me think of why Wal-Mart has done so well over the years, with the Walton principles. Wit has taken the exact opposite approach. Thanks but no thanks. Wit seems to possess the SADIM touch (the reverse of the MIDAS touch). Everything they touch turns to $hit. Not with my money, pal.
