Bob, I've heard that things are a bit tougher up there. Frankly, if they thought they could get away with it, I think that major financial powers-that-be here in Les Etats-Unis would initiate the same foolishness. The thought of some moron deciding whether a trade "fit my goals" would just frost my ba.. uhh, tender parts!

I've always found that the when someone said that they were "just looking out for my well-being", it was just before they shoved their hand in my wallet pocket. Those clowns have an amazing amount of gall and never seem to quit.

Hopefully, this will be a passing phase for you folks.

Wrong!

Canadian have access to same tools. The only restriction is if you are trading from an RRSP account. In which case, yes, you would be restricted.
