Penni, the Blair witch project also developed slowly........don't go into the woods alone -g- I thought that was a well written review as well. And I am happy that you highlighted the point made tha Kubrick's movies rarely have a definitive point of view. A movie that can not have a definitive point of view, but has a feeling of taking you there even if you were not happy where you went , and brings you back to me is like the big Leagues instead sunday picnic softball. That said I thought that As Good as it Gets, Titanic and My best Friends wedding where very good movies as well. You have an intellectual flexibility, that is a super quality to possess :) John
