A lot of folks around here (including Cheeky Kid) like to play around with those goofy on-line translators. (knowing full well, of course, that they are goofy, and that that's their charm). Cheeky posted a machine-translated missive to a lady friend. I told him the translator he was using was even worse than the one people usually use. He asked which one was that. I said the lady friend in question had passed it on to me, and that the reason I knew it was that one (the tip-off) was that it used the non-existent phrase "se que." (None of the other machines do.)

In short, I was not "scolding" Cheeky.

As for my post to you -- #reply-5370257 -- I only wanted to know what you were trying to say in that thread header of yours (that long disquisition on "vous" and tous").

What were you trying to say, by the way?

Edit: On checking your responses to my post, cited above, I see you were using the Alta Vista translator! Ho, ho, ho! But it is still hard for me to figure out what you were saying, tous or no tous...
