Well Ram of MK must have liked what he heard and is reading between the lines. I just got his report and he has raised MK's estimate of earnings to 46 cents per share from the previous 25 cents although the estimate doesn't include the potential for a one time charge.

Seems his estimate and my comments yesterday on the Bull are real close.

He then said " We continue to be intrigued with the potential for the company with respect to both its technology expertise and its IPR assets. The shares are inexpensive relative to the near term financial outlook. Valuation has the potential to improve if current positive trend can continue over the period 2000-2001."

Jon, let's see where we go from here - if volume declines and the stock price sinks to the low 4's, I would assume that all the rumors are unfounded for now. After listening to the conference call, some topics where touched upon that bodes quite well for the future of this company - that being the potential revenues from the ASIC chip venture with Texas Instruments and management's confidence in the inclusion of IDC's patents in the next generation wireless standard.
