What is the procedure of asking for a stock to be included
in the SI beta stock charts---

Moog-- (MOG.A) -- works in current SI
but not in beta:
beta.siliconinvestor.com

Also a couple random suggestions : there are times when a link to back to TOP of the same page would be helpful....maybe in SI Navigation dropdown?

in Portfolio - I would like to be able to choose one portfolio or watchlist as primary and have it open automatically when linking from other areas....
anyone else?

Keep up the good work,
eddy

For some reason, when I click on the Amazon thread, I can't see the recent posts. Even "view recent" doesn't do it... the top is 72339. If I get a new message in my subjectmarks I can see the new posts, and I can go back and forwards through them, but the new ones are not accessible through the header banner.

Thanks... disregard if this has been covered, I don't read all posts on this thread.... :-)

Bryan - FYI,

The Would you like messages to appear in descending order on StockTalk subject pages? option needs a thump. Some threads yes, some threads no.

...Mezz -

Hi Bryan, something for you to take a look at..

When you respond to a public post the "respond" button is on the right side. That fits with the rest of the site cognitively, but when you "respond" to a private post the button is on the left side.

I recommend you move these features in "private" mode to the right side and "standardize the process".

Best, Michael

Bryan,

Logging in was much better and much much faster the old way. I log in many times per day from several computers, and the last thing I need is that slow-loading intro screen, only to have to go through my original bookmark once again to get to where I was trying to go, and then find the message I was responding to.

Inbox should be available whether you're logged-in or not, so you can click it, be prompted via pop-up to log in, and then go straight to wherever you were trying to go.

The look of the threads is so obviously awful, that I find it impossible to believe any thought or consideration of feedback went into this at all.

For many reasons, the "classic" is so much better, and I suggest people not be forced to the new interface like they are now. In very limited (forced) use of the new interface I have already many glaring inferiorities. If my SI membership were a stock, I would hit sell immediately.

"Improvements" are something you do to an existing thing, based on the strengths of that thing. What you've done here is more akin to making a cheap copy of SI, rather than an improvement. This isn't knee-jerk reaction. This is just painfully obvious.

How about keeping the "classic" permanently, or making it two different sites and seeing where your bread is really buttered. You've copied the look and feel of the message boards everyone came to SI to escape. Nothing but clutter now, invisibly small, and colorless. Should anyone copy your "classic" easy-to-use-and-read, fast to navigate, etc. interface, you'll be losing more customers that you likely already will. If my fees were due tomorrow, I would not consider renewing.
