i have now spoken with two techies re sunw's majc. the first is convinced majc will use rambus. the second does not think it will. he does think eventually sunw will switch to rmbs as will everyone else. i still think the majc product descriptions sound like rambus. i could be wrong...do not have to wait long for an answer. sunw ir says the info will be on their website aug 16. unclewest edit...also found out re samsung's new product..sgram. it is graphics specific and graphics specific stuff is much more expensive than commodity dram.
