MNI, Re: To my own ears this is a little too patriotic. I think Europe, incl. Germany, have the potential to make the difference now. And what does 'have the potential' mean?? Nothing! MNI, face it: you could say the same platitude about almost every country/region on earth!! China, Japan, Brazil, Russia have also 'the potential'.... Yet, the recent rise of jingo parties in the last European elections doesn't bode well for Europe's cross-cultural potential --oh, btw, don't even utter the word 'Europe' down here in Belgium.... Because of the current dioxin fiasco and the EU technocracy's no-mercy policy toward Belgium, Europe's become a four-letter word lately. Regards, Gustave.
