Dan 21/7 - Re: "On the other hand, if intel can't discriminate between a sunk cost and a future cost, and clings to rambus, AMD may be do fine with the present situation. "

Get over Rambus.

You, like many of your AMDroid brethren, focus continually on the wrong things.

When AMD couldn't come close to Intel in performance, all your AMDroid buddies kept explaining to us Intel investors that speed wasn't important - that 233 MHx K6's were all the world needed and wanted for doing whatever people do with computers.

Now that AMD seems to have a competitive chip in the 500 - 600 MHz range, all of a sudden Intel's CPUs are too wimpy for the world's needs.

Geezus - you guys never learn.

Next sucker...please.
