Gee-Wee, I believe the point you are missing is the fact that BII isn't in a position to sit and 'wait'. These guys need to get on with producing a bottom line. (that means profits)
PS: I'm not ideaman. This reminds me of that time not too long ago when everyone here at SI BII said I was Chris.

>>My thoughts are that Bid.com management is waiting for the market to turn around before inking some of the deals that they are working on.

Bids is a cheap Internet play. They are heavily positioning themselves into B2B which will grow into a Trillion dollar industry. The Internet is here to stay. I don't know of a better kept secret than Bids. Watch out when the whole sector comes back. Whether it is in the fall or after Y2K.
If anyone is interested in listening to the Q2 conference call last week in New York, you can call this toll free number. It's worth the 30 minutes to hear management speak and also answer questions from analysts.

P.S. Gonorth, do not respond. This post is directed to everyone but you. I do not want ANYTHING to do with your deceitful, antagonistic, sadistic multi-personality disorder. I do not want an instant "bulemic" attack. I repeat, this post is not directed to you, Gonorth in any way, shape or form.

PPSS Everyone, I am trying to contact the Dow Jones reporter who recently left a PM for me and probably everyone else regarding message boards. I would like to express my feelings about what I believe goes on here on SI with regards to the poster "Gonorth". I think it would make a great story for CNBC/and or the Wall Street Journal. "Message boards infiltrated by "paid bashers" under several different aliases." Hmmmm...I wonder if the SEC would like to read this one.
