I am still of the opinion some people use this discussion board
to gain attention at all costs..
most are in earnest at trying to understand the events that affect
their external lives and those coming down the road for their children and grandchildren
Weak people might know better but they never change-their needs are too powerful

Since you chose to invoke my name, DoubleD, I guess you expect me to respond.

If the Dutch sales were so insignificant, then why an entire SI thread created, devoted to the repercussions of such an act?

Why did gold plummet, bringing forth howls of pained complaints from goldbugs, solely derived from the insignificant sales of gold by the BOE??

Why was it that the gold industry DEMANDED (Bill Murphy included) transparency in CB sales so that the market wasn't undercut by surreptitious sales from their coffers?

And now why is that they are complaining about how a CB announcement of a small quantity of their gold NOW damages the gold market and they want the CBs to shut up about any gold sales??

Btw, you are incorrect. The gold reserves of the US are valued at $42/ounce.

I really appreciate attempts by yourself and Dougie K. to turn me into some kinda of cult of personality, but that just ain't my "bag".

Maybe you all should look for some other, more significant version, of your golden anti-christ.

Regards,

Ron
