Check out this piece:

Tuesday, Microsoft began testing a Windows 2000 site that challenges beta testers to find and exploit potential security holes or vulnerabilities in a server running the company's forthcoming operating system. Expected to launch by the end of this year, Windows 2000 is the company's most secure and stable operating system yet, Microsoft says.

Naturally, the site had drawn the attention of a number of would-be crackers

But before anyone could get a crack at it, the site came down on all on its own, and has remained hard to reach.

It's things like this about MSFT products that makes me chuckle
everytime ...

WIN3.x crashes, WIN9x ditto, WIN NT 3.xx, WIN NT 4.0,
WIN 2000, Hotmail, MSN, etc ...

How does MSFT expect anyone to flock over their free ISP when users
can't even boot their PC and MSFT can't keep their site up???

I fully expect all the salaries of MCSE(s) MCP(s) to increase as
companies upgrade to WIN 2000 <g> ... I'm sure I'll be getting
Overtime helping MSFT debug WIN 2000.
