I think you spelled it out wonderfully, and of course, more tactfully. I wish I had read your post before I wrote mine, but there are just TOO MANY. Anyway I find it very interesting we came to the same conclusions independently. I find the names people choose to use on SI is very revealing.

A). I did not take umbrage at you because you were more delicate, but I will call you presumptuous too, if it will satisfy your sense of justice<VBG>...
B). I am sorry, your emphasis was on being unencumbered by received opinion, so free thinker seemed a fair enough characterization;
C). If you read further, you may find it all less mysterious.....LOL!
