Gizelle --

As you may know, I'm not a big believer in chart/TA. However, I must admit that I do like your posts. They're sensible, not "all-knowing" and nicely cautious about direction.

Thanks for them -- and keep 'em coming.

It takes more than a day to make real money.

gizelle, took the words right out of my mounth.

A comparison may be in order.

For those out there who have job-jobs (are there any left?) most don't think of their salaries in terms of one minute ticks. It's usually annualized. They show up for work, read the paper, apply for home mortgages, and schedule weekend events all from the security of their cubie. And at the end of the day, few, if any, mark their annualized wages to a one-day, here's what I earned at work today equivalent. If they did, it could be downright depressing for some...

The technology that gives many of us access to the same information as those who make the markets also handicaps us. We over analyze stocks, directional movements, and the impact on our net liquidating values.

But it doesn't have to be that way. Not if you have a long term outlook. Give the market time. Give your holdings the courtesy to implement their business models.

I'm not in for the 100 yard dash. These days, my time would be abysmal. So I pick my own event. The ones where you need patience, endurance, a clear head, and a little bit of belief in your choice of sensible investments.

There's a host of good ones out there.

And I don't have anything to worry about with CMGI being at the top of my list. And it's also OK by me if it takes alot longer than a single day.
