How can you say that, Toes? Why, the Repubs get plenty of "equal time." After all, the whole time Clinton is talking, he's talking about the Repubs, so they get even more "equal time" than the Dems.

That's what the bully pulpit is all about. You picked the wrong time to complain though. CNBC cut Clinton off in the middle and went to a point by point rebuttal by Larry Kudlow. What more could Republicans ask?

Maybe it's a trivial point, but at least the sentences uttered by this President parse correctly. I don't mind so much if CNBC carries Presidential speeches since Presidential policy, especially on tax and budget matters, is relevant economic news. I do object to having to listen to gibberish.

They already have a sister station, MSNBC, for showing Clinton photo ops. They should keep it to that. Personally, I would prefer they limit his appearances to the Food Channel.
