Thank you, that cleared everything up for me. I always thought they were the same. Just started noticing slight differences in responses to each, and realized that I really didn't understand it. From the sound of it, I don't think I would ever be brave [or stupid] enough to buy puts. At least not with my limited knowledge of the stock market.
