Adam, OTOT, Big Mac #s 500, 501 must have been quite a thrill. You mentioned George Brett. Good to see him go into the Hall last month. Last guy to make a good run at .400 (.390). Well, maybe Tony Gwynn has also but it doesn't stick with me like Brett's. Guy in the office next to me asked as soon as he got in if Mac has a chance at Aaron's record (755). I'm sure he'll get back over to the AL, with the DH, when his legs have had it playing first. Even with that, I think it's maybe, big maybe, that he catches Aaron. I wouldn't bet on it. What do you think? I'd bet on Griffey ahead of Mac. Tony
