Nah, I have major long-term positions in more stable tech stocks - this is a stock play for me. I think you'll see well over $200/share before you see $50/share. It depends on how much pain you can take if I'm correct. If I'm wrong, I'll collect my gains, though smaller if JNPR fall from here, smile and be on my way. Good luck to you.

I short quite a lot of over-hyped windbags especially the Inuts. I looked at JNPR as a possible short but will stay away. I am in the telecom business and we currently use CSCO 7513 routers in our nation-wide network. We are getting planning an upgrade in '00 and JNPR is high on the list. I missed the IPO and watched in awe as the stock opened and traded near $100. I figured I would wait a few weeks and pick up a few shares below $50. Well, it's obvious that strategy did not work. While I truly believe that JNPR will trade quite volatilely (correct adverb?) - giving shorts and longs a chance to play - this baby could go either way. While I am not prepared to go LONG at this level (and in this market), I truly do not believe this is an obvious short either. I am here on the sidelines watching you guys to see what happens! Good luck all!

Moby.
