BigBull, Am in Farmington, New Mexico today. We just had a good discussion on KEG with my O/S friends here. We feel that KEG has done a good job buying up much of the services companies in NA- indeed KEG has about 30-40% greater capacity than pre 1998-99 oil price crash.

So assuming that KEG can work out of its debt situation, then it should do well about 4-6 months from now as servicing business picks up with the independents.

I drove through the SE New Mexico Oilfields three days ago-from Artesia to Hobbs through Loco Hills- the number of both drilling and workover rigs has increased in that large producing area- one of my unofficial indicators of the status of the rig companies and indirectly the service companies that supply the rig companies...

BTW- One of the Top Ten greatest Mexican Food restaurants in NA is in Artesia-LaFonda-check it out if you are ever in the South Plains area like Carlsbad for the Caverns or Roswell for the alleged UFO crashsite....

Big Bull,

still way long FLC with some "free" sept calls juicing up the upside.

decided to hang tough on RGO despite the poor earnings. looks like there's some buying interest here so i'll wait.

the fgi/hlx position is starting to look a lot better. not trading those as i think there is better upside ahead.

new long in keg and olog. more vts added. looks like the second tier players are getting warmed up to come in off the bench.

++good

The "Keg Dog" has bit me in the butt three times already for substantial losses. I'm afraid I'm not going to join you. This stock and I just don't mix well. <ggg>
Cordially,
RBlatch
