I note that at the TLUG meetings each month there are an ever growing number of females. This number has grown to an astonishing 4 or 5 by a year's time. No doubt it will keep increasing.

Dah net itself is overwhelmingly male, yuppy and interestingly almost all own computers. I wonder why that is. In the biz world of mining that I habituate there are some females but not many. In the biz world of finance there are many more. Girls just don't like certain toys. How many of them do windows? When I was in programming I noted some females and some where not bad at it. In the rough and tumble pro code world the numbers dwindled.

Perhaps it is we who are missing something. Or the the girls just want to have fun when the working day is done.
