Yes, I don't want to be a Markman basher, but it looks like they have seriously mis-stepped several times and this puts his judgement in doubt for me. I often wonder what could have been if they had a super marketing guru at the helm?

At this point, I agree that GM would be better off as a unit of a more complete company. The products look like they will soon be missing their window of opportunity as WAP enabled phones provide many of the capabilities that Portico can do in perhaps an easier manor of use.

I wonder how many good deals might have come down the pipe as companies considered buying GM, but offers were never made public. At $2 a share, it seems like any offer would be an improvement over these questionable financing deals.

Nice to see some positive price movement today. Anyone figure out why? Over sold?
