Always, always, always the limiting factor. I've said it a hundred times on this thread, McDonald's sells more food than the Four Seasons, and has higher earnings. The food is not better, but you can't get the volume you need if prices are not where consumers can feel comfortable about reaching them. Example, FredE wants a $200 DVD. I'm guessing Fred could afford a $1000 DVD, but sometimes it's just the principle of the thing. Low price equals volume. That's why DVD is taking off, the players are getting cheap enough to reach the mass market.
