Ice, semis typically rise on strong jobs reports due to their extreme cyclicality. they are the best performing group in a rising rate environment. however, they are now overowned and overhyped imo. sooner or later they will succumb.

Ice, be careful with POS, we are getting into a very nasty area here with market internals deteriorating extremely rapidly. I would not be surprised to see 10,000 on the DOW before the end of next month. POS will come back, IMHO to the $51-55 area before the scenario takes over again. Then there are really two points, the $67 area where INTC and TXN can start and lay out their hedge, and the $87 to $100, that MU would like to see for 20 days to force conversion. May be there is no "conspiracy", but I would not bet on that (TG).
